Rev. Kathleen Dain

Interim Resource Presbyter

Kathleen (Kathy) Dain is an ordained minister within the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and the Church of Scotland. She was ordained by Cayuga-Syracuse in 2011 and is looking forward to rejoining the presbytery as your interim resource presbyter.

Kathy has served several congregations in Florida as an interim/transformational minister helping each church rediscover its missional heritage. As the Executive Director of Beth-El Farm Worker Ministry, Inc., a presbyterian mission in covenant partnership with two presbyteries of the PCUSA and the Missions Ministry Team of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Dain led initiatives that promoted education and healthcare including the establishment of the first free dental clinic for income qualified adults in the Tampa Bay region.

Kathy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in broadcast journalism from Central Michigan University, and Master of Divinity from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. She also has certificates in C.E.O. Leadership, Conflict Mediation, and Interim Ministry Training.

In her spare time, Kathy enjoys photography, playing pickleball, kayaking, and walking her miniature schnauzer, Chance. She is a semi-retired private pilot, whose last great adventure was co-piloting over the Highlands of Scotland.

Kathy is looking forward to meeting the members of our CNY congregations, pastors, and presbytery leaders as we begin this next chapter in our walk of faith.
